I'm sorry if what I said was interpreted as criticism - it wasn't intended to 
be.  As I run from the cvs, to try to make sure that stuff I do works with 
the current FG, I do I expect things to change but after the last update I 
did, both of the chase views were radically different with no immediately 
obvious way of transitioning between the new and old states, to allow time 
for new practices to be developed.

I was trying to say that generally where improvements result in radical 
changes there should be some way of allowing for a transition period so that 
those who have to make their stuff work with the FG code have time to do so 
and don't suddenly end up with their work broken and in need of immediate 
fixing.

I'm happy to accept that nothing was removed (and I'm not hard of hearing yet, 
so there was no need to shout) but this was not immediately apparent to me.  
The immediate impression that I got was that things had been replaced.

I'm honestly sorry if I've offended - that was not the intention.
