This isn't an excuse for not doing better docs, but there is no reason why we shouldn't point to unsimulated-flying manuals - I use Trevor Thom's seven volume set - it's helped my sim-flying enormously. I think having real aviators, like the now-well-rated Mr Megginson, on the team is one of the things that makes FG fun, and these lists so entertaining.
