A cool picture of Santorini. Much prettier from the ground though :-) You may be able to request special permission for GPL release. It is possible for GPL software distributors to charge a fee for costs and support, which could be interpretted as commercial use. It is also possible for GPL software to be included with closed source software or a hardware package that is charged for. They might be open to GPL release if images are used as a basis for textures, as opposed to distributing the original files.
