A ground FDM might not be such a bad idea.
How about aircraft having both a flight FDM and a ground FDM?

I don't know about everyone else's experience but I haven't found one aircraft
in FG that wants to sit still on the ground even with the engine off.
I've never seen a stationary aircraft "weather vane" into a 10 knot wind in
real life.
It seems like some work needs to be done with regards to rolling resistance
and tire friction to stop all that "twitching" and also the way the aircraft
start rolling on their own at idle. Last time I flew in a PA28 she required a
fair bit of throttle to get her rolling even on a hard surface.
