2D CRT or LCD screens in cockpits look fine but 3D knobs, buttons, switches
and levers just don't look right if you move around in the cockpit.

Example : If I hop between the pilot to co-pilot seats I want the auto pilot
knobs to look right without having to make a separate sets of textures for
each view.

I do feel that a little bit more work needs to be done with regards to the way
FlightGear allows one to interact with the panels.

1. I need an easy way of zooming in and out (scroll wheel?) so that the labels
can be read and instruments adjusted.
The panning works fine but there needs to be an easy way to zoom so that I can
reach over and adjust things. Labels on panels and buttons become
unintelligible from acute angles and distance.
Of course there must be some intelligence that stops users from zooming right
through the panels.

2. We also need some way of changing mouse cursors based on position for
adjusting instruments. I haven't looked into this yet so maybe it's allready
working. Plus and minus sign cursors would be a good start for adjusting
autopilots and radio/nav stacks.
