It wouldn't be a requirement - to store JSBSim aircraft at the JSBSim web
site - I'm not even sure it would really need to be in CVS (I hadn't thought
of that part, yet). But, it just seems to make sense that there ought to be
a central repository for JSBSim aircraft (and where better than the JSBSim
site?), and installation ought to be very simple. It is also envisioned the
site/page would provide information on using the aircraft, and perhaps other
useful stuff, as well. Dave Culp raised this idea the other day - he already
has a "hangar" here:

I don't want to interfere with the FlightGear base directory storage,
however, there appears to be coming a time when maybe the base package needs
to be culled of some aircraft models - at least eventually the number of
aircraft modeled will become so large that it's just not feasible or
desirable to hold all of them in the base package. I think the hangar
approach is a good one.
