I'd recommend that this go in, personally, Dave - HOWEVER, I'd also recommend that the change you made be compared with what is in FlightGear CVS now. JSBSim CVS is in the middle of some other major changes, and I'd rather those not go in just yet. I can't recall offhand at the moment how deeply those changes reach into FGPropulsion.
