Turning down the start RPM would probably be the fix required here. I'll check that in instead (I think I might use 60 instead of 30, which really does seem awfully slow) and see if folks like it.
I'm trying to remember how fast the blades go by while cranking. They are slow enough that you can very easily count them -- by closing my eyes and trying to remember, I get about a blade per second, or 30 rpm for a two-bladed prop. It might be a bit faster than that, but I don't think it's 60 rpm -- the spinning really is very leisurely.
