Under windows, 

--enable-fullscreen

enables a fullscreen, undecorated window at the current selected
resolution, and

--enable-game-mode

does the same but with a very low resolution, feels like 640 x 480,
possibly 800 x 600.

It's the undecorated part that I like - flying at night with the lights out
the light emitted from windows decorations is very noticable.

That's one downside to LCD monitors as well - they aren't quite as dark as
CRTs for night flying.
