The reset is probably picking up the wrong elevation to reset to. There are a couple of things that could cause this. Usually it has been either getting the units getting screwed up (meters for feet) or the elevation being saved earlier is not the correct one for the airport (i.e. the save is happening too soon). In either case the aircraft is a little too high off the pavement on restart and crashes. I'll take a look later today or tomorrow unless someone else gets to it first.
