Right now the carrier is broken, and has been for a couple of days. I know
because I broke it, but it hasn't been reported yet. The fix has been
forwarded to Erik, but hasn't been uploaded yet. I'm sure that it will be
soon.

I only mention this because it indicates that the quality of our testing
might not be quite as good as it should be as we move rapidly towards 1.0
