Forget about "telnet". It's a normal tcp socket connection. I'm
confident that VB6 can do that. Did you look at the examples as
I told you? The c/c++ examples in scripts/example/ don't even
mention "telnet".

That was the second part of my question, what would the syntax be under UDP... the same? I understood Telenet was indeed a TCP connection (ie one to one) whereas UPD is unsigned and is (at least in the VB control) different to a TCP connection in that theoretically it could be many to one. but i'm skating on thin ice here so be gentle with me ;-)
