I fully agree with the above, and think that we should have our own GPL voice communication capability within FG. However, I find it all right to try out flying and talking via such an application (even if it is only "free as in beer" and not "free as in freedom"), in order to realize exactly what our requirements for the voice comm features should be. Hadn't Julien initially said that he had set up the server for this testing only, I wouldn't have bothered using it.
