It needs code changes, but it has been talked about. In the mean time, make the mirrors slightly concave and then use a chrome animation on them. If you have a good .rgb file for the animation it should look pretty good. I forget what other planes use this type of animation, but I know I used it on the Canberra's landing gear oleos.
