Oh great, we didn't have one for a long time .... well not
necessarily, but getting back to a reasonable discussion requires that
_both_ sides accept that there might be valid views on a topic, which

As long as you are denying the existence of points that are valid to
others, but just not to you, you'll remain sitting in the playground.

To be honest, I actually found it too boring to comment on every one of
a group of partially or completely incorrect allegations, so I took the
short route. Simply try to get to know the build system of OSG - you'll
find most of the interesting stuff in the respective 'Make/makedefs'
files of OpenThreads, Producer and OpenSceneGraph.

During development (around autumn 2005) we had versions of FlightGear
that neither worked with the latest release of PLIB nor with CVS.
Because of this I've been maintaining my own private patchset against
PLIB for a while. The current situation with OSG is somehow similar.
I suspect FlightGear will build with current OSG CVS, because compiling
and linking should require only the core libraries of OSG. It just will
fail to run any aircraft because the AC3D loader is missing. It might
be an interesting experiment to convert one of the AC3D models over to
a format where a loader for OSG is already available .... but I'll
leave this to others because I don't want to spend too much time on
this.
So, BTW, you still didn't present me a valid point that justifies
sparking such huge waves as you did here,
