I successfully built Producer on Solaris 7 just now. My machine is very slow, 300MHz Ultra10 SPARC with 128MB RAM. I had to install X11-R6.9 for this though, since in Solaris 7, there is no X11/XKBlib.h in the Xsun installation. From many other sites/forums on the net, I hear that Solaris 8 had a better Xsun package which had that file. However, I compiled and built X11-R6.9 and then compiled and built Producer successfully without making any changes. OpenThreads also built fine. I haven't been able to build OpenSceneGraph since the machine goes out of virtual memory while compiling, so I will have to build it in parts.
