I have such embedded database tool in mind, but actually I doubt that
it buys us anything compared to the features we currently have.

Actually I _do_ transform parts of Robin's DB into SQL for the purpose
of retrieving and displaying airport locations in the Landcover-DB.
There apparently _is_ an advantage in this transformation which lies in
the fact that I can do a conversion into the geospatial POINT datatype
and store all the different sorts of information in a unified format.

But there's no connection to any speedup in building Scenery ....
