Just a random thought: the autopilot does not lock the controls out (and it shouldn't) so rudder inputs will make the heading hold wander. I fly with pedals, so I can really pull the nose off course when the autopilot is flying. Are the people experiencing problems with the autopilots using --auto-coordinate?
