I'm still quite interested in your GSA change with the cleanup you mentioned
of moving plib init stuff into the GSA classes and will commit it unless other
developers object. Even if in a few months time we are left with only one
implementation of GSA, that is still a much less tightly coupled way of
defining and implementing the fg_os interface than the old way of declaring
functions that need to be implemented.

The main point is that the SDL version cannot be ripped out just yet, as there
are still bugs in osgviewer (and in OSG) which make it unusable in the eyes
of some. It looks like we now have the list of what needs to be fixed before
the SDL and GLUT versions go away.

By the way, I believe numlock is fixed and, if it is still broken, would like
a test case for that.
