Sorry didnt understand if it will use existing bitmap textures, but makes
polygins edges smooth, and add texures of shore;
or bitmap of texture will be generates itself.


In august I'm did some work in same direction.
For begin to play with, I'm
creativly borrow (stoled) an idea and pictures from msfs' GroundEnvironment.
For each type of area there is 7-9 bitmaps,
which can connect without border.
In materials.xml I defined filenames
and x-ysizes, and now my world FG look like this:

But for now the main feature dont work - all polygon with area fill with one
bitmap, and another polygon with same area filled complitely with another
bitmap from pack. It is can be view at screenshot #2 and #7
If somebody will make change in code, that textures for filling poligon will
be taken randomly from the list, then I continue my work to make
licence-clean bitmaps.
