When starting to tune the gears  on both H-22C and S-51 i have had that 
difficulty. When on the runway, I had the helicopters sliding on the side (no 
problem with rough terrain)
 It took a lot of time to find the values of springs and and compressions 
which solve that problem. Only when the rotor is going on to turn we get the 
torque effect which must be solved with the rudder.
