It shouldn't be hard for someone with some JSBSim insight to fix it. When I told Dave about the problem, he suggested to replace the elevator FCS part by the one of the 737, and this did indeed work. But then I noticed that the aileron has the same problem, and if I'd replace half of the f16 with 737 parts, then it wouldn't be an f16, but an f737. :-) BTW: the problem started with an JSBSim update.
