It's actually not that hard, but I seem to remember that last year's version 
was just a matter of hitting the magneto's and hitting the starter button. It 
appears that the current version required a bit more fiddling around. 

The other Dehavilland models I referred to are actually pretty much in the 
same league as the dhc2. I really like the twin otter, in particular the 
animated windshield wipers, the fact that the throttle levers are mounted in 
the overhead panel, and the fact that it comes with a ski variant. All these 
features give it the appearance of a very rugged bush plane.
