I am all for that. It would be a first step towards enabling the model-cockpit-view to work properly. In the longer term, I hope we'll get on-demand transmission of properties over MP as well, always the ones that are required for the animations. Then the cockpit instruments would also work. Additionally, for AI aircraft, it would be nice to have an AI server that makes the AI world shared over MP, and really flies the planes as if a pilot would be onboard. This would also make it possible to take control of AI planes. Normal MP pilots could then request an AI plane from the server and simply take control, thus solving the startup position and the changing-of-aircraft problems. Wrecks for crashed aircraft could be left in the scenery for others to simulate rescue ops, start fires and stuff like that. But I think I am wandering off-topic here :) -- Csaba/Jester ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ This SF.net email is sponsored by: SourcForge Community SourceForge wants to tell your story. http://p.sf.net/sfu/sf-spreadtheword _______________________________________________ Flightgear-devel mailing list Flightgear-devel@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/flightgear-devel
