I have been working with this patch for a while now and I think it is an improvement and should be applied.
I added some modifications to the original code: In the animation-xml - added support for the SHIFT-KEY modifier so using the mouse wheel without - SHIFT tunes by 25kHz and using SHIFT tunes by 1MHz steps. - bugfix: NAV steps in 50kHz, only COMM steps in 25kHz In the nasal section - modifications to code formatting - removed the "trailing-underscore namespace" - replaced the exception handling by using num() function - added some more documentation and samples - removed global variables for tuner objects, added objects to the tuner object itself - moved the code to aircraft.nas If this is OKed by Melchior, I'd like to see the aircraft.nas addition in CVS. After that, I will make the modifications for the KX165. There is no need for any modification of aircraft using these instruments. > I'm not that familiar with the case, but wasn't the diagnosis first > that it's a bug somewhere? In this case I wouldn't like a nasal > hack around that in common space. I prefer fixes to hacks. :-) More or less yesno. You probably refer to the textranslate animation used in the kx165 having roundoff problems. They were fixed elsewhere. This code provides a nice wrapper for common tuner functionality. Torsten
