As I can remember I used the old one it because it was the only good 3d-model I found. But I must admit that this type is never used on c172p and I missed that fact, so we indeed should use the right one. I just had look into ircraft/Instruments-3d and found the right one, but the qualitity of the textures seems to be less, but with using the 2d-instrument-textures that should be easily changed. Currently I don't find the time to fix this issue, maybe Stuart has more time.
