I'm not saying it's not worth looking into, and I'm not saying it wouldn't take more than 10 minutes to do, but I'm just one person here with a million tasks ahead of this one that take between 30 seconds and 1/2 a lifetime to do. I don't claim that I'm able to prioritize all my pending tasks perfectly and externally perhaps the order can look a bit random, so hopefully someone else can take a look or maybe you could try some other aircraft to see if the problem is wider spread or just contained to this one aircraft.
Have you tried to contact the author of this aircraft? Have you tried to see if there are any other users that are running into a similar problem? Sometimes people will build from different dates out of the repository to try to narrow down exactly when the bug/problem crept into the code to help isolate which change it was .... This is an all volunteer project ... it's grown way too big for one guy to carry the entire load and responsibility on his singular shoulders. Curt.
