I've committed the first part of the code changes to SGOceanTile to increase 
the number - I"m still deciding the best place to control the value. In the 
short term, you can hack the default values in SGOceanTile.cxx (right at the 
bottom, latPoints / lonPoints default to 5) and see if this magically improves 
things or not.
