I noticed the same some while now. I thought that it came from my not so powerful system, so I never brought it up. I can remember that it was much better in earlier times. I tried some various fgfs.exe (the first cmake one, and an older MSVC (August) but I could never seen a difference. I could compare only with 2.0.0. Unfortunately not yet with 2.4.0 And indeed even with full AI-traffic, no stutters there. Aircraft which needs more CPU-power due to heavy use of nasal-scripts like F14b or EC135 increases those stutters while flying around. CPU utilization increases together with those stutters. Switching off the shaders doesn't make any difference. Throttling the framerate down makes the stutter only smoother, but they won't disappear. Don't get me wrong- I still see between 30 and 60fps- but compared with 2.0.0 with a lot of stutters. No real idea, but I can also imagine, that model loading in the background doesn't work anymore as I was used to it and my be one possible cause for this behavior. Any more information needed, before I put this into the bug-tracker?
