I would like to ask a few opinions on the following points:

I've been experimenting with regional textures after Stuart's re-organization
of materials.xml, and I have a few nice adaptions which I would like to suggest.

For instance, one can use 18th_century_city.png to texture cities in Europe, or
use a rice terrace texture for irrigated fields in Asia, in general make
agriculture look different in Europe and US (Adrian has a nice set of
European-style textures which I'd make use of here).

Should I aim to provide this as an optional separate materials file, or do
people feel we have enough optional ones around and regional texturing should
go into the default file? Either is fine with me.

I've also tagged a number of texture sheets which are no longer used by
Advanced Weather. What's the position on that - should I create a merge request
deleting these texture sheets, or should the texture sheets stay with the
project because they might be used? My personal opinion is that all
good-quality cloud textures have made it into the regular m x n texture sheets
used in the current scheme, and losing the other textures isn't really a
problem, but I'd like to know what the opinion is before going through the
trouble of casting this into a merge request.

Thanks,

* Thorsten
