Well, normally, you'd simply set a nav radio to the correct frequency and then check the DME readout - but if that's not an option for whatever reason

you could either permanently poll that value automatically
and print its value to the console by running a simple nasal script,
or you could bind such a nasal statement to a specific menu item in
menubar.xml.

There are certainly more ideas, it really depends on what exactly
you want to do, and why.

However, usually I'd simply go for the nav radios
