Andrew, when I tried jstest just now, I found that the initial values for some of the axes were way off, but when I moved the joystick and then let it centre itself again, they all went to zero (or something close to it) (except the throttle which is just a slider which is zero when set to 50%). Interestingly the twist-rudder axis didn't always settle to zero and sometimes needed a little nudge. If I leave the joystick in the state where the rudder axis is a little off, and start jstest again, the first dozen or so lines of output report this axis at zero, but then next dozen or so show it as a little off like so: [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~> jstest /dev/input/js0 Joystick (Logitech Inc.
