Hi Mike,

The GA AI traffic (that which is enabled under ATC/AI options in the menu
or "/sim/ai-traffic/enabled" in preferences.xml) is deliberately disabled
at KSFO in order to avoid clashing with Durk/Dave C's scripted airliners.
You can find them at other towered airports in the base package (KSQL,
KPAO, KRHV, KHWD etc). Not KHAF - that's not got a tower control listed.
I can't remember off-hand whether I disabled them at KOAK and KSJC.

They appear on a peusdo-random basis related to the traffic level set, but
they all start at least 6 miles from their destination airport so you won't
see them at a given location for 5 min or so (there are currently no
departures, only arrivals). I recommend starting at KSFO and flying to
KSQL with AI enabled and your comm1 set to KSQL tower (119.0). Note that
at airports with multiple tower freqs, the AI traffic always uses the first
(lowest) one. On my TODO list is allowing their appearance to also be
scripted using Dave Culp's AI scripting mechanism.

Eventually the 'intelligence' of my AI (their communication and pattern
flown can alter in response to the user or other random AI traffic) and the
scriptability of Dave/Durk's AI will hopefully merge into one system.
We're all very busy with other stuff though - some sort of AI merge has
been on the backburner for a while now.

Cheers - Dave
