I suppose here I find people who fly real too; I do not, so my
perspective is limited to flightsimulators and not very close to real
experience. So I ask this here.
Are lighthouses to be considered as interesting landmarks to VFR flight?
Lighthouses are generally not very high, but they emit a pulsating light
which is visible from high distance, mainly at ground level, I guess
small airplanes' pilot see them too. Am I wrong?
I ask that because I wonder if it could be nice to have 3d lighthouses
(in the scenery) which emit pulsating light like the real ones. Of
course this could be usefull if real pilots were used to that. Otherwise
it could be just a nice addon to flightgear but not so interesting
regarding the pilot's point of view.
