Since there is no dragchute I decided to add a tailhook. ;) O/o raises
and lowers it, but it doesn't do anything but it looks good. While I
was at the looks thing I redid nose wheels, now they have a rims and
steer. I also fixed the intakes and started texure mapping.

Let me know how it flies!

Hi Ron,
thank you for the improved F4E (hook! and other stuff).

I did some short testflights, no time for more now (-> weekend :-) )
Start and landing is fine.

As for landing speeds I flew 200 knts with gear down and full flaps descending to 180 knts and touch down at 160 knts - just trying as I have no real numbers, and it was a soft and nice landing. The F4-F is in category "E" landing minima = "166 kt or more but less than 211 kt IAS, speeds based on 1.3 times the stall speed in the landing configuration at maximum gross landing weight" due to the Military Aeronautical Information Publication Germany Aug 2002.

I was not really satisfied with the inflight stability in roll axis (unstable in medium and high flight envelope), could not get the bird into a loop, also forced turns seem to be a little unstable.
And also "centering the ball" for coordinated flight was really a task.

This as a feedback, no critics, under the assumption that I am no military pilot and don't know how such a bird flies in reality.

But also it was not a hit as a fighter in VN (MiG 21 was better) it was developed as one and should have some fighter-qualities in flight.

Your FG model made me read a lot about F4 the last time, increased interest!
