I see that there is an option -P of "cvs update" that instructs removal of 
directories that
are not in the repository. I am not clear about individual files. Info CVS did 
not tell me 
what is the policy on files that are not in repository. It is my worry that my 
CVS updates 
may erase the FGFSDB files. I guess I will check to find out. If it is removing 
them, I can
re-download/re-unpack as needed.
