It doesn't work with Rosetta from what I heard from user input.

If you want a universal binary, the last one I did was 0.9.9-pre2 and
is available here: (It has a few bugs though)

And yes it uses a dmg compression format only supported by OSX 10.4
and later (It's bzip2 instead of gzip based.).
