The capability is there in JSBSim, and one of the things I've been doing as a lower-priority effort in recent weeks is to look at modeling wing-lift over the entire range of alpha. There is also a model for lift hysteresis, which is seldom used and understood. I agree that our flight modeling could be improved in this area.
