OK. As I said, I'm not familiar with the Mac, but try adding the following
to the box to type in stuff:
--multiplay=out,10,mpserver01.flightgear.org,5000
--multiplay=in,10,YOUR_MACHINE,5000
replacing YOUR_MACHINE with the name of your computer.
What version are you trying to run?
I've just found out that the MP servers will only support the latest
0.9.10 release, and won't work with anything earlier (e.g. 0.9.9). I don't
know if 0.9.10 is available on the Mac. What version are you running?
