I feel that part of my problem is that my knowledge (or lack of!!) of
XML is also causing frustration. Does anyone have a reference to XML
documaentation as used in FGFS?
I am familiar with conditional statements etc but some more information
on XML keyword and syntax would assist greatly
First step in order to understand the way FGFS uses XML is to read
model-howto.html
Next step is to look into existing fgfs xml files, start with the
simpler ones, where you can see how the easy syntax is used. I had a bad
time with xml animation transformations too, it takes a little patience
to understand how it works. model-howto.html is not updated (I didn't
check the latest updates though).
Try looking into Simgear docs too, it's Simgear doing all that animation
tricks
