Hi Fred, I understand what you mean! It didn't make sense to me either in
light of what you'd suggested. All I know is a now have lights that flash
and I can control the cadence.
The same technique has worked on three models now.. so it's not a quirk of a
particular model.
Is this a case of a little knowledge is dangerous ? :-)

This doesn't make sense to me either because your are giving 2 different
names to the same object : LampOn and LampOff are now aliases for the 3D
model object named Lamp. And then you switch between Lamp and Lamp (
aliases removed ) so I can't see how it could blink. But if you can see
( visually ) the effect ...
