It's probably already too late for this tip: I allways buy my RAM from
Kingston. It's only a bit more expensive that any no name RAM - but I've
got a lifetime warranty. *AND* their homepage tells me what specific
stick will work on my mainboard.
Once *I* thought that another stick will work as well, but it didn't (so
it was my fault). The shop I bought it from didn't want to exchange it
as I've alredy opened the package and used the RAM - but Kingston told
me they have to exchange it. After a few phonecalls Kingston offered me
to exchange my memory directly - and only one day later the shop phoned
me that they they would exchange it as well...
