Hello All. A noobz question regarding scenery. If I choose to create my own scenery following the directions at this location: http://www.terragear.org/docs/scenery-tutorial/fg-scenery-tutorial.html will I be able to generate scenery of any *greater* detail than that which is available in the 0.9.10 scenery folders at the the flightgear ftp sites?
What I'm asking is if the scenery on the ftp servers is generated using *all* the publicly-available data to generate the final scenery i.e. is it generated to the maximum possible detail (without going in and adding individual scenery items on a tile-by-tile basis - I know the open sourceness of the project allows me to do that If I want to). Because if not, generating my own *more detailed* scenery from the raw data + terra-tools sounds like a useful use of processor cycles.
