Thank you very much to Josh and Chris for answering my questions from a few days ago and for pointing me in the right directions on how to do things for myself. Chris's wiki page is also very useful. In fact I may need to start building sooner than I expected because..... Is anyone else having problems with e090n20.tgz from the 0.9.10 scenery folder in any of the ftp servers? I copied from the main server, then from an alternate, and again from the German server. I use either mc or wget. No errors are reported in the copy process. The file I get is 276.3MB, but has errors, and will not unpack with tar, whereas all the other tiles (in India/Pakistan/Sri-Lanka) do. The error message is: gzip: stdin: decompression OK, trailing garbage ignored tar: Child returned status 2 tar: Error exit delayed from previous errors Bandwidth's not an issue, so I'm not frustrated. I just want to know if anyone else has a problem. The problem is only with e090n20 from the 0.9.10 set.
