yes.

add to that list, white men in "militias" wearing full camo during any
given day, young punks in jack boots, guys in pointy white hats and
sheets ... and yes, *gasp* brown, middle eastern men.

To *not* use profiling is to deny the oh so blatanly obvious reality,
a reality that even a child understands.

suspicion is what helps to catch bad guys _before_ they hurt someone.

how about, instead of trading "security" for freedom, we trade
personal opacity for personal transparency and do away with political
correctness for its own sake instead.

and i accept the risk from a car crash of my own free will, but i dont
from a car bomb.

i will never be embarassed by trusting in my instinct, given to me by
experience and 1000's of years of evolution, that tell me that i
shouldn't walk down the street  "in the hood" at midnight, and that
men from the middle east are more likely to want to harm me than my 75
year old irish neighbor.
