I saw one episode that I thought was kind of so-so, but all the other episodes I've seen have been really good, well written, well done. It's kind of sensationalistic TV-14 rated stuff so Tivo it and watch it after the kids go to bed. :-)
If I hear anything more I'll let you all know ...
BTW, I'm still in LA today, sitting about 10 feet away from the simulator that was used in the TV show ... for whatever that is worth ... I didn't get to go to the studio (which I'm actually very happy about since I get too little sleep already.) 99% of my work could be done remotely. We put the simulator online and I logged on remotely to make most of my changes and updates. I scripted out a specificly timed flight scenario so the actors could wiggle the controls, say their lines, and pretend to fly ...
I don't think I will be anxious to get a job in Hollywood after this experience ... but still fun to do once ...
Curt.

I was watching the "Ultimate Combat Helicopters" on Discovery Wings in
the UK a couple of days ago, the prog covered the upgrades that are
being performed on assorted helicopters so that they can integrate with
modern battlefield communications systems. They showed a visualisation
system displaying buildings and vehicles on a battlefield and I'm almost
certain it was flightgear with the magic carpet FDM. Given their usual
schedule it's likely it'll be repeated, and a quick google shows the
same show is showing in the USA too.
Did anyone else spot it? Did you think it looked familiar too?
