Hi there, Users positioning static objects on their scenery have done so using the ufo, by flying the ufo to the position they need and then grabbing the lat/lon/altitude from the properties. Being a curious-by-nature person I thought I'd take that approach a step further, but swapping the ufo model for my new full-size ac3d model of the NZCH terminal building. My goal was to simply 'fly' the entire terminal building into position. Sound good in theory?
Warning to fg modellers wanting to try the same...tiny objects might be OK with this method, but terminal buildings? No way! I found it nearly impossible to do, but the worst part was the sore ribcage from laughing too hard at the sight of a terminal building banking on its approach to the foundations... :-) Kind regards, Chris Wilkinson, Brisbane, Australia. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Using Tomcat but need to do more?
