(In other words: this > *won't* be accepted into CVS. :-) Yes it does show up as a separate full-grown aircraft the only saving being the different liveries use the same 3D model.And yes if you have 100 repaints of the 737 then they would all show up as separate models in FG run. I dont see how you get around this as surely you have to select the livery you want to use somewhere.Correct me if I am wrong but if you want to fly the 737 and it has many liveries, somewhere you have to tell FG what livery to use be it in Linux or windows.To get around the clutter in FG run I guess you would need to have a further subdirectory so initially you would be presented with the main directory with all the different aircraft types then selecting a type,if there were more than one livery,you would be presented with a list of the liveries to select from for that type. I dont see either what this has to do with CVS.I would think any repaints would be held somewhere were people could just download them and add them to there local copy. My understanding of AC3D is that you apply the textures and those textures have set names, e.g XYZ.RGB, and if you change that name then AC3D will say it cant find the texture and you will be presented with a red and white aircraft were the textures should be. So if I want XYZ.RGB to represent KLM then I need to put it in a separate folder to say a XYZ.RGB that represents BA Am I missing something here?.
