The ballistic model in submodels is accurate, except for windage, which
varies from case to case, and for which I could find no good math. So,
provided you ignore the effects of wind, the submodel will follow good
ballistic trajectory calculating the gravity drop, and aerodynamic drag. Of
course, you need to enter some fairly realistic drag numbers. On the other
hand, if you attach a 'streak' to the submodel, this will be aligned to the
submodel, and will not absolutely be aligned with the trajectory, but I
would have thought that it would be near enough for government work.
