    Yes you can just buy the Wiimote and only the Wiimote.

If I wanted to get one of these would I also need to get the IR sensor bar?
What else would I need to get?  Some sort of blue tooth something or other
for my desktop PC?  (So far I've managed to not need to ever buy anything
blue tooth so I don't know much about that.)
